If you do a lot of requests, or have a multi-site agreement, Origin Connect is the quickest way.
New natural gas meters and supply
All states: For all alterations to natural gas meters, you’ll have to give us a call on 13 29 73 (Option 5) when you have the load details.
Distributor forms
In SA, NSW and ACT, you’ll also need to contact your distributor when requesting a new electricty meter. If you aren’t sure who your distributor is, you can find out on our distributors page.
SA: Power Networks approval via the SA Power Network’s REX portal.

Altering an electricity or natural gas meter, including adding solar

If you do a lot of requests, Origin Connect is the quickest way for you to submit applications and track their progress.

More solar forms
In VIC, you’ll also need a Photovoltaic Solar Generator Connection Agreement from your specific distributor when altering a meter for solar. If you aren’t sure who your distributer is, you can find out on our distributors page.

All states: For all disconnections for your gas, you’ll have to give us a call on 13 24 61 so we can arrange a disconnection with your distributor.
